POSTDOCTORAL AWARD

In our dedication to foster an evidence-based culture, the Care to Know Centre is committed to creating new opportunities for learning and expansion of knowledge. We have invested in a Care to Know Centre postdoctoral funding award to generate awareness and to promote the importance of improving the client health care experience in the home and community. We are equally committed to sharing the resulting information, experience and combined knowledge to ensure that the positive effects can be applied at all levels in the health care community. Health care systems, organizations, professionals and individuals will equally share in the benefits of this alliance.

Care to Know Centre Postdoctoral Award Opportunity

One applicant will be selected to conduct postdoctoral work relevant to the focal point of the Care to Know Centre. Through our promotion of a progressive learning environment, we strive to create an informed culture that makes evidence-based decisions. It is this sharing of knowledge that empowers us to shape and advance the quality and delivery of health care services in the home and community and provides the necessary information for ongoing engagement of key stakeholders at the national, provincial, and community level.

The postdoctoral applicant will have the opportunity to work within this organization and to develop original qualitative and/or quantitative research related to the provision of home care as an integral aspect of the health care services continuum. The Care to Know Centre is particularly interested in research about the client health experience or client self-care within the home and community health care environment.

Applicants who are interested in this postdoctoral award opportunity should contact CHSRF as soon as possible at grantsandawards@chsrf.ca.
